NT Farmers does not connect job seekers with employers however, if you are looking for work in the NT horticulture industry try the following sites.
The Harvest Trail contains thousands of jobs around Australia for seasonal workers listed by Australian farmers. Australian’s, permanent residents and holiday makers are encouraged to search for jobs and connect with employers through the harvest trail.
The Seasonal Worker Program enables employers in the agricultural sector to fill workforce shortages with reliable workers from nine participating Pacific Island countries and Timor Leste. Not only does the program assist the agriculture industry but it also contributes to the economic development of countries in the region. For further information on the program visit the Department of Education, Skills and Employment website – https://www.dese.gov.au/seasonal-worker-programme
The Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) compliments and builds upon the success of the Seasonal Worker Program and connects Australian employers with workers from participating Pacific countries. The PLF works with governments in the region and assists employers to access workers in the scheme.
