NT Farmers aim to support educators to provide quality agriculture education through various resources including videos. These videos are available on YouTube and include the George The Farmer channel. In 2021 George the Farmer travelled to the NT and visited some local farms! Watch some of his adventures below.
PIEFA is a not-for-profit teaching resources foundation formed through a
collaboration between the Australian Government, primary industries
organisations and the education sector producing teacher resources, lesson plans and online curriculum-based courses.
Food Ladder gives people the tools to stop hunger and malnourishment. They provide remote and regional communities with hydroponic greenhouses and specialised training so they can grow fruit and vegetables, and set up their own social enterprise if they want to.
Primezone provides teachers, parents and students with an Australian Curriculum driven range of high-quality vetted primary industries education resources from Foundation to Year 12.
The Framework will introduce students to the world of food and fibre production through their everyday school curriculum. It will provide educators with engaging, curriculum-linked activities that are ready to implement straight into the classroom.
Food and Fibre Education for Teachers
Engaging with the NT agricultural industry provides many positive benefits to schools,
local communities and producers
NT Farmers acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledges their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging. This website is made possible thanks to the NT Government's Community Benefit Fund
